About Me

Hi, I'm Jess, the artist and maker behind The Made Line.

I'm a ceramic artist, hairstylist, and full-time mom to my daughter, Madeline, who inspired the name of my business.

I've been creating for as long as I can remember, and after earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2007, I continued exploring different creative paths. In 2020, I finally took the leap to turn my lifelong love of making into something more, and The Made Line was born.

Every piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in my California studio. I love creating functional ceramics that feel special enough for everyday use, pieces that add a little joy to your morning coffee, your dinner table, or the quiet moments in between.

No two pieces are exactly alike, and I believe that's what makes handmade work so meaningful. Every mug, bowl, and sculpture carries the subtle marks of the process and the care that went into making it.
